Grounded. Precise. Collaborative.
Buloke was founded to raise the standard of the building experience.
We believe that creating your home should feel considered, not chaotic.
That working with a builder should feel like working with a partner.
We lead with calm authority, and we deliver with care—ensuring the process feels as good as the result.

Fouche Architects Design
Burringbar House is a carefully executed renovation of an existing 1970s double-storey home, delivered through a strategy of adaptation rather than replacement.
The project required working closely with retained structure and fabric, integrating new roof geometry, vertical shading fins and re-oriented openings to reconnect the house with landscape, light and prevailing climate. Much of the work involved aligning new interventions with existing conditions — resolving junctions, tolerances and transitions so the architecture reads as continuous rather than layered.
Built in close collaboration with Fouché Architects, the process on site prioritised clarity and precision: disciplined sequencing, careful material interfaces and steady stewardship of design intent through construction. The finished home feels settled in its place — less an imposition on the land than a measured conversation with it.
Virginia Kerridge Architectural Design
Project Update:This year we’ve been immersed in additions and alterations at Contemplation House — a deeply considered home shaped by the philosophy that architecture and landscape are inseparable. Designed by the esteemed Virginia Kerridge, the house carries a calm, inward rhythm and working within that lineage has been both grounding and inspiring.
It’s rare to build in a place so attuned to its setting, and rarer still to collaborate with owners whose values align so closely with the spirit of the architecture. Spending time with them and understanding the thinking behind the original design, has been a genuine privilege.
We’re now moving through the final stages and look forward to sharing the next chapter of this quietly remarkable home.
